AI Prompt Repository
Posted by Connor Zhou on April 5, 2023 at 7:49 pmI’ve seen a lot of discussion around the value of knowing the right LLM prompts. I think there would be value in a website that acts as the Github of prompting language. Let me know if any of you would be interested in working on such a project.

I actually like this idea. How would you structure the site?

^^ Unironically would be very useful: an AI trained on AI prompts. And when you phrase it right, there’s a certain comedic factor that could make it catchy and viral.

Honestly, I think it’s best to think about it as something like a library catalog, but much more smooth and efficient.

There’s definitely a lot of people already talking about this, but I don’t know if a comprehensive repository exists.

Exactly my motivation for making it. Do you think you would use one?

I’m intrigued, but I’m curious how this would functionally be any better than just Googling what you want. How would you categorize/navigate it to make it valuable?

Google is clunky, surrounded by sponsored results, etc. This would be streamlined and specialized for just doing prompts. And would have a bunch of categorization/filter options just like similar sites.

Still think you need more of a selling point than this. Either make for a certain subset of prompts (i.e. those that would be used by a virtual assistant) or add an aspect like AI search.
